To help you prepare for a financially fit retirement, Navajo County offers a deferred compensation plan through Nationwide to help supplement the State retirement systems. You can start at any time with a $10 minimum deduction per pay period. (The standard annual maximum contribution limit is $22,500.) You may also make changes at any time to the amount you wish to contribute. All assets are invested and grow for you on a tax deferred basis. The options are; Pre-tax 457 Deferred Compensation, and Roth 457 Plan.

Note: If you are 50 years of age or older, you may contribute a catch up amount not to exceed $30,000 in a calendar year.
